What are my chances of getting into NYU?

Your ACT score may be on the low end, but your grades are great. It seems like you only gotten A's or higher in high school, and have done well with extra curriculars. I don't know much about NYU, but I do know about applying to college as I am a student at a Public-Ivy Institution. I would recommend taking the ACT one more time (it doesn't hurt, and you only send your best score anyways), secure some great letters of recommendations from teachers that know you best, fill out your application thoughtfully, and most importantly write why you want to go to NYU in your essays (don't say it's because it's a great school), give real reasons why your interested, what you want to pursue with your degree from NYU, and what you want to do as a profession/goal in life.Give examples of how you persevered during your lows and talk about the high moments as well(don't be afraid to brag, do it in a nice way tho :) ) The Personal statement helps the admission boards to know you better if NYU doesn't offer an interview. Your GPA is great, work to raise your ACT a little higher if you can, and do well on your apps. You are on a good start. Best of luck! feel free if you have any questions
