Do i have chances for an ivy league?! please help, TEN POINTS!?
You have a lot more of a chance than most kids and it's great that your thinking about it now but a 3.7 GPA actually won't kill you if your taking rigorous classes or not. I'd suggest cramming for SAT prep and possibly getting college credit, it's big favor with the Ivy League and can cut your freshman workload in half. But honestly there's no way of accurately predicting whether or not you'll pass or fail. Sometimes people with amazing GPA's and stellar SAT scores get rejected while a kid with average grades and a low SAT score gets accepted. It depends on a multitude of things. It doesn't mean you shouldn't try to keep as top of the class though (It'll be considered weird if your not in the top 5% of you class and yet you apply to Yale) Instead of focusing on community work, I'd suggest you try to develop a particular skill in one major area to set you apart from other. Oh, and read the book below.
