Will I get accepted to Grand Valley State University?

Your GPA is rather low. Although you have a lot of extracurricular activities, you should be forewarned that many universities consider your GPA as a signal as to whether you can handle college level courses. Even though you plan on majoring in Cinema Studies, you must still complete general educaton requirements for graduation beyond your major which will include English, college level math as well as history and other such classes before you can focus on your major. I would suggest attending community college for the two years of general education classes because they have smaller class sizes and will help you raise your GPA so you will have better odds of transfering to your chosen university with the major of your choice.
