Does doing what god did (but not to the scale and magnitude of how god did)...make this ok?

i knew from the beginning that my son`s rabbits were going to be trouble and in a few moths we had so many and they were ruining everything.....so i drowned them all and the rest of his pets....(this never happened but is it the same as what god did when he flooded the earth?....he knew from the beginning man was going to be trouble....
