Would getting a nipple piercing hurt more than getting a small ankle tattoo?

I've already had my nipple done and to be honest, yes it did hurt A LOT for the first 5 or 10 seconds for me, but after it was pretty smooth. So I was thinking when I'm old enough I'll get a small Death's Head Moth Tattoo on my ankle, do you think that will be less painful than my nipple piercing? O.o
